Midway Knights versus Crestview Thunderbirds

Ouch!  Yea, that bites.  First game of the season and we wanted to open with a bang.  Well, we did alright but it wasn't booming on our end.  Congrats to the Knights for a well executed game.

So we win the coin toss and we get back to a decent position on the field.  From there, we had a turnover and never seemed to get our feet back underneath us.  To the Knights credit, they seemed to capitalize on every mistake we made. 

No excuses, we didn't play at our full potential.  I appreciated the efforts of the players from both teams.  Guys I lined up against came hard all night.  As expected with the PSFL, no fights and no language issues.  Well, other than #60 from their side taking a cheap shot at one of our defensive lineman by punching him in the head.  (Wake up, this is football, not UFC)  But outside of that, pretty decent game that would have been much better had it gone our way.

Kinda feel like I'm reliving the Buffalo game from last year and I hope it's the only time we have to go through this.  We got our redemption on that team last year....will we get redemption on June 26 when the Knights comes to us?   

No surprise, Coach Taylor didn't have any player of the week announcements
